A little help. Every detail.

Inspect photo details, edit metadata and export new copies in a native Mac workspace.

Open a photo

Choose Open Photos, press Command-O, or drag images into the sidebar. Select a photo to see its preview, capture settings and metadata. Search the table or select a category to narrow the fields.

Edit and export

Select a metadata row to inspect it. Supported fields can be edited or marked for removal. Changes are staged until you export an edited copy. Use Undo and Redo before export. Originals are never replaced.

Choose Export Copies or press Command-Shift-E. Use an edited export to apply staged changes, a clean export to remove personal metadata, or a location-only export to remove GPS. Clean and location-only presets do not apply staged field edits. Select several supported photos to export copies together.

Supported formats

PNG, TIFF and HEIC exports decode the image and write a new lossless raster. Proprietary container data is not guaranteed to be retained. Clean exports retain essential image structure and orientation while removing personal metadata.

Change or remove a location

Choose Change Location in the inspector. Enter coordinates, choose an offline place or scramble a location, then export an edited copy. Nearby scrambling still reveals an approximate region. Use location-only or clean export when you want GPS removed.

Why a file will not export

Check the format and the export result. The app limits individual files to 512 MB and 100 megapixels, and the source workspace to approximately 1 GB. Multi-image and detected auxiliary-image files are intentionally inspection-only. Try a standard single-image JPEG, PNG or TIFF.

Before quitting

The workspace does not restore unsaved drafts after quitting. Export the copies you want to keep first.
