TonePoet is designed to respect your privacy. The app uses the microphone to analyze pitch, tuning, note confidence, musical key, and chord context locally on your device.
Microphone access is required for real-time tuning and prediction features. Audio is processed on device. TonePoet does not record, save, upload, sell, or share microphone audio.
TonePoet does not collect personal information, create user accounts, track users across apps or websites, or transmit analytics from microphone input.
The app does not require network access for tuning. Support and privacy pages are hosted separately for App Store information only.
The app is suitable as a general music utility and does not knowingly collect information from children.
