Heliory privacy policy · Effective October 18, 2026

Heliory is an iPhone app by Steven Smith. It does not require an account, contain advertising or tracking SDKs, or send your plans to a developer-operated server. We do not sell your personal information.

Information on your iPhone

Heliory stores selected and saved places, outings, preferences, and cached forecasts locally. The app shares the selected planning information with its own widgets and Live Activities using Apple’s app-group storage. This information is not uploaded to us. Sun and moon calculations run on the device.

Apple services

Searching for cities and displaying maps uses Apple Maps. Search terms and map requests are processed by Apple. When weather is enabled, the coordinates of your selected place are sent to Apple Weather to obtain forecasts. You can disable weather in Heliory Settings. Heliory does not continuously track your device location. Reminders use local iOS notifications and require your permission.

Apple services operate under Apple’s privacy policy. Your device and backup settings may also determine whether app data is included in an Apple device backup.

Support and external links

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use this only to respond and resolve the issue, retaining correspondence as needed for that purpose or legal obligations. You can request deletion by emailing support@solution7media.com.

Creator links open external websites or the App Store. Those services apply their own privacy policies. These support pages are hosted by Netlify, which processes ordinary network information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and secure web pages. We have not added advertising, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies to these Heliory pages. See Netlify’s privacy policy.

Retention and your choices

Saved planning information stays on your device until you remove it or delete the app. Forecast caches are temporary. Deleting the app removes its local app container; existing device backups are managed separately in your Apple settings. You can disable notifications in iOS Settings and weather in Heliory Settings. There is no developer-hosted account or database of your plans.

Children and changes

Heliory does not knowingly collect children’s personal information. If you have a concern, contact us. If our practices change, we will update this policy and its effective date.
